Leaderboards as a sheet
Daily and monthly leaderboards become rows with product name, tagline, upvotes, comment count, and topics.
Product Hunt Scraper
DataLens is a free Chrome extension that exports Product Hunt launches to Excel or CSV — no code, no Product Hunt API token. It works on daily and monthly leaderboards, topic pages, search results, and maker profiles, capturing product name, tagline, upvotes, comment count, topics, and maker.
Daily and monthly leaderboards become rows with product name, tagline, upvotes, comment count, and topics.
Topic pages and search results let you pull the launches in a space — AI tools, developer tools, productivity — into one list to compare taglines and traction.
Open a maker profile to export the products that person has launched, for founder research and partnership lists.
A founder preparing a launch exports last month's Product Hunt leaderboard and studies the taglines and upvote counts of the top products in their category to sharpen their own positioning.
A VC analyst exports a topic page such as AI or developer tools to build a long list of recent launches, then filters by upvotes and comment counts before digging deeper.
A growth marketer collects the launches from several maker profiles into one sheet to understand what those founders have shipped before reaching out about a partnership.
Open the Product Hunt list you want in Chrome: a daily or monthly leaderboard (producthunt.com/leaderboard/daily/… or /leaderboard/monthly/…), a topic page such as producthunt.com/topics/developer-tools, a search, or a maker's profile.
Click the DataLens icon in the toolbar. The AI detects the repeating product cards and proposes columns: name, tagline, upvotes, comments, topics, and maker where the page shows them. Untick anything you don't need; detecting the list and previewing columns are free.
Start the scrape. DataLens scrolls to load more launches and keeps adding rows. Stop when you have enough and export to Excel (.xlsx), CSV, or JSON.

Yes. Product Hunt topic pages and search results use the same kind of product list, so DataLens detects them the same way and collects every launch the page loads as it scrolls. It is a practical way to list the products in a niche.
Yes. DataLens runs inside your own browser session and reads Product Hunt the way your account sees it. It does not use proxies or cloud servers to fetch pages.
DataLens is free to install, and new accounts get 100 free points. Each scraped row — one product — costs 1 point, so your first 100 Product Hunt launches are free; detecting the list and previewing columns cost nothing.
